Big Sky Strategic Finance was established by Nick Rodger to provide mid-market organisations and complex entities with the senior financial leadership required to mitigate periods of transition, growth and high-pressure compliance cycles.

A Career Built On Transition And Turnaround

With a career spanning nearly 20 years across Australia and the UK, Nick has a strong track record of leading finance functions through periods of change, strengthening reporting, controls and financial capability where improvement is needed. Most recently Nick served as Deputy CFO and Acting CFO at St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, where he led the finance team through a period of extreme financial risk, successfully returning the organisation to a sustainable financial position.

His background is uniquely diverse, encompassing senior finance roles in Healthcare (St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney), Government (Transport NSW, APRA), Telecoms (O2-Telefonica, NBN Co) and Financial Services (Lloyds Banking Group, Blackrock). This breadth of experience allows Big Sky Strategic Finance to bring a best-practice lens to every engagement, regardless of sector complexity.
